Burns Night
February 2010 TYC Commodore Bernie Parsons MBE hosted a Burns night supper in aid of the RNLI. The event was sold out and a good time was had by one and all. This year donations, profit from the food, raffle and auctions raised over £200 for the RNLI. Photos from the event have been put together in a special album in our picture gallery section.

The 2010 lift in dates are 2/3 April (Easter) or 16/17 April. There is a notice on the club board to elect the date members prefer. Please choose your preference by signing your name and boat name or if you are unable to make it down personally ring up and get one of the committee to add your preference. Please note that members are expected to assist on at least one of the lift in days. Thank you.

TYC Clubhouse

Welcome to Thurrock Yacht Club. We are located in Grays, Thurrock on the River Thames just to the east of the Queen Elizabeth II bridge.

TYC was established in 1946 as a yacht club for the working man. Today we remain true to that principle, being one of the least expensive yacht clubs in the British Isles where anyone can enjoy sailing and motor boating. To keep our fees down our members volunteer their time and skills to run the club and bar, maintain the clubhouse and lay moorings.
