Welcome to Thurrock Yacht Club. We are located in Grays, Thurrock on the River Thames just to the east of the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge.

TYC was established in 1946 as a yacht club for the working man. Today we remain true to that principle, being one of the least expensive yacht clubs in the British Isles where anyone can enjoy sailing and motor boating. To keep our fees down our members volunteer their time and skills to run the club and bar, maintain the clubhouse and lay moorings.

Today TYC has a lively and active membership from across the social spectrum. We have moorings for approximately 40 boats ranging from mud moorings through to 24/7 deep water moorings for boats up to 34ft.
